Performances

Herb Parker, Jr. has been the musical directory for the Bill Martin summer educational workshops for many years.  He also performs at schools throughout the United States for students of all ages.  His piano/vocal concerts have been enthusiastically received in many communites.

 

“The Magnificent Masters of Music”

The lives of seven great classical and romantic composers are set to the music of their most famous melodies.  Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Liszt, Verdi and Brahms are studied historically and musically through melody and rhyme.

 

“Bustin Loose with Mother Goose”

Twelve Mother Goose rhymes are set to original music by Herb Parker.  Poetry, music, and theatre are intertwined for a fun filled session!

 

“The Musical Magic of Bill Martin’s Books”

Herb Parker has written original melodies for several books by the master storyteller himself, Bill Martin.
